Shovel, wheelbarrow, level, string line, hammer, wooden stakes, hand tamper (to compact dirt), 3/4" minus gravel is recommended.


1. Begin at the lowest elevation. Determine the line of the wall.	2. Fill trench half full with level, compacted gravel. Install first layer of block. Level side to side and front to back.

3. Place remaining layers of block on a cross bond (half bond) pattern. Lock the heel over the block below.	4. Level wall as you go. Fill and compact behind wall. Landscape area when finished.
