    Building a Sustainable Future

    Reading Rock is committed to product innovations and is committed to developing and improving our entire product line with respect to the environment.  Reading Rock was one of the first cast stone manufacturers to devote resources to products with supplementary cementitious materials (SCM).  Utilizing an innovative combination of materials such as SCM reduces waste energy and green house gas emissions.

    RockCast Introduces Caliza Stone

    Caliza Stone is a new economical machine made product produced to ASTM 55 and targeted for Institutional work where Cast Stone products may be too expensive.  The product is intended to be used where CMU and ground faced units may typically be utilized.  Caliza Stone can be used at grade, is easily cleaned and utilizes the same admixtures found in our RockCast products.  Caliza Stone is available in 6 of its own unique colors, similar to Cantera Stone; Stone, Old Ohio, Sandstone, Stone Creek, Wheat and Old Mississippi.

    New! Muro Stone

    Available mid-June 2009, the tumbled random ashlar sizes currently offered in Cantera Stone will be available in our standard 28 RockCast colors.  Muro Stone will be sold in full cubes, by size (height) similar to Cantera Stone.  Slate, Gray Whisp, Buffstone, Old Ohio, Moss and Commonwealth will be available with a 3 week lead time.  All other 22 standard colors will require 4-6 week lead time.
